Coverage C - Personal Property:

Personal Property in a TN Home Insurance Policy includes personal property owned or used by an insured, with some expections.

Personal Property Includes But May Not Be Limited To:

*  Insurance coverage on these items of personal property is usually limited unless specifically scheduled in the home insurance policy.

Normally the limit of insurance coverage for personal property is based on a percentage of the amount of insurance coverage on the insured home. Reimbursement for a loss of personal property may be made on an "Actual Cash Value" or "Replacement Cost" basis.

When "Actual Cash Value" is used, the owner of the home insurance policy will be reimbursed for the damaged property at its' "depreciated value".

Under the "Replacement Cost" coverage, the owner of the Tennessee home insurance policy is reimbursed an amount necessary to replace the damaged property with one of similar type and quality at "current prices".
